About Us
The Blue Star Moms is a non-profit organization comprised of a dedicated group of moms, committed to supporting our members and their families. We embrace the rich diversity of America and stand united in honoring those who have served the U.S. Armed Forces, as well as supporting veterans' organizations and initiatives that aid military personnel and Star Families. We encourage everyone to exercise their right to vote and to pay tribute to those who have bravely defended our country.
What We Do
- Organize and display banners throughout the community to honor local heroes.
- Create and distribute care packages to support veterans and their families.
- Participate in Wreaths Across America by setting wreaths to commemorate fallen heroes.
- Participate in community parades to celebrate and recognize our hometown heroes.
- Coordinate veterans events to foster connection and support within the community.
- High school showcases of graduated veterans.

How to Join Our Chapter
Membership is open to mothers or stepmothers who have sons and/or daughters currently serving, or who have been medically or honorably discharged from the five service branches of the United States, as well as the National Guard, Reserve and the Merchant Marine. For more information about joining our local Rim chapter, contact our membership coordinator.

Associate members include all other family members, spouses and friends of those who are currently serving or who have been honorably discharged.

Our general meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the first Monday of each month at the Elks Lodge in Rim Forest.
